The Minister of Tourism, Mame Mbaye Niang overturned the decision rendered by the Dakar Court of Appeal on May 8, the opponent&#8217;s lawyers appealed to the Court of Cassation.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>After the judge of the Ziguinchor court ordered the re-registration of Sonko on the electoral lists, Les Echos announces that the Supreme Court has relaunched the Ousmane Sonko-Mame Mbaye Niang case.<\/p>\n<p>According to the newspaper, the case will be judged on October 26, 2023 before the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p>After Ousmane Sonko&#8217;s lawyers filed their request for appeal, those of Mame Mbaye Niang sent their response brief.
