Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>Bai Babu, Germany based Gambian and Multiple Awards winning Rap Mabalah artist, has recently signed a management contract with Worriors Ina Dance in Germany to push his career further in Europe and Gambia.<\/b><\/p>\n

Worriors Ina Dance, is a Germany based event organizing and artistes promotional firm worldwide. Michael Dampha, chief executive of Worriors Ina Dance told that he is ready to promote African talents across the European market.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am a booking agent for many artists. We are trying to put African music across the Europe market in many platforms\u201d Michael alias King Mike, a German born Gambian outline.<\/p>\n

Bai Babu is currently working on lots of music projects videos and songs and he is performing regularly in Germany.<\/p>\n

Popularly called Rap-Mbalah Landlord has released a new album called \u2018Half Nit Half Golo\u2019 recently in Hannover Kulturzentrum Faust in January.<\/p>\n

The 15-tracks album features five artists from Gambia and Senegal and is recorded in different studios and produced by Damayi Entertainment.<\/p>\n

Bai is currently working with AMA Roots Band ahead of the summer Festivals in Germany and Europe tour to entertain the people through Africa cultural values.<\/p>\n

Who is Bai Babu?<\/p>\n

From the Streets of Tallinding in the Kanifing Municipal Council of the Gambia, Brain Crakers, now Bai Babu believed that music can be used as a source of livelihood and a tool to educate and entertain the masses.<\/p>\n

In 2013, he launched his debut album mix-tape during a show which was so jam packed that the show had to be stopped for 30 minutes for the safety of the people.<\/p>\n

Back in November 2013, the sensational singer launched his first hit mix-tape dubbed \u2018Dama Yii\u2019, which was a resounding success. Since then, he has thrived in the music scene.<\/p>\n

Bai Babu was signed to Joluv Arts Entertainment on 18 March 2014. A three-year contract, the deal took the rap Mbalax star to a professional level.<\/p>\n

Babu released his debut 10-track album titled \u2018Ajjbasakaw\u2019, a local Wolof word meaning \u2018Aim High\u2019, produced by Joluv Arts Entertainment.<\/p>\n

He had a collaboration with a famous Senegalese artist Pap Diouf in a song called \u2018Maralaw\u2019 which was a break through for him in the Senegambian music industry. He also had a US tour with Papa Diouf which was a huge success giving him the opportunity to tour 15 States in US.<\/p>\n

In 2016, during the Wa Sa Halat Music Awards, Bai Babuemerged as the most successful on the night with four trophies. He was named Mbalax Artist of the Year and Rap Mbalax Artist of the Year, while his recent hit \u2018Fahass\u2019 won Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year. He is the first Gambian artist to hit 1 million viewers with his Fahass video on YouTube.<\/p>\n

In 2017, he released another EP called \u2018Fimajaar\u2019 about his journey as a musician.<\/p>\n

He has performed extensively across the globe to entertain the masses through music. He is described as the most hardworking and Rap Mbalax landlord Bai Babu.<\/p>\n
