{"id":56083,"date":"2024-04-08T17:24:11","date_gmt":"2024-04-08T17:24:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/gambia\/?p=56083"},"modified":"2024-04-08T16:33:39","modified_gmt":"2024-04-08T16:33:39","slug":"court-dismisses-nams-case-against-clerk-ag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/gambia\/all-news\/court-dismisses-nams-case-against-clerk-ag","title":{"rendered":"Court dismisses NAMs\u2019 case against clerk, AG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Gambia. <\/strong><\/span><b>The high court has dismissed an application to restrain the Clerk of the National Assembly and the Attorney General from their attempts to remove three members from the Gambian delegation to the Ecowas Parliament.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Two weeks ago, Fatoumata \u2018Touma\u2019 Njai of Banjul South, Samba Jallow of Niamina West, and Kebba Barrow of Kombo South filed a lawsuit at the high court against the clerk and the attorney general over their \u201cillegal\u201d removal from the Ecowas Parliament.
