In July 2020, the couple sent tongues wagging when Jada revealed on her Red Table Talk show that she had an affair with R&B singer August Alsina while separated from Will in 2015. Jada\u2019s blithe description of the romantic relationship as an \u201centanglement\u201d broke the internet, and the mass of memes with Will\u2019s tearful face didn\u2019t help matters either.<\/p>\n

The Smiths made headlines again just days ago after another Red Table revelation, where Jada discussed the challenges of maintaining a healthy sex life. When guest Gwyneth Paltrow shared she\u2019s having \u201cthe best sex of her life\u201d as a newlywed, Jada made a stark comparison with her near thirty-year relationship with Will.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard. The thing Will and I talk about a lot is the journey. We started in this at a very young age, you know, 22 years old,\u201d Jada said. \u201cThat\u2019s why the accountability part really hit for me because I think you expect your partner to know [what you need], especially when it comes to sex. It\u2019s like, \u2018Well, if you love me, you should know. If you love me, you should read my mind.\u2019 That\u2019s a huge pitfall.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jada\u2019s remarks caused another media frenzy with many assuming her comments were yet another glimpse of trouble in paradise.
