Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>The ambassador of Japan to the Republic of The Gambia, IZAWA Osamu, has decided to honour Mrs. Bintou Kujabi Jallow, Honorary Consul<\/b><\/p>\n

General of the Republic of The Gambia in Nagoya with a Certificate of Commendation.<\/p>\n

This Certificate is awarded in recognition and with deep appreciation of her tireless efforts to enhance friendship, solidarity, mutual understanding and cooperation between Japan and The Gambia.<\/p>\n

Since her appointment to this position in June 2019, Mrs. Jallow has made commendable efforts not only to enhance the existing diplomatic<\/p>\n

and cooperation relations between the two countries but also encouraged Japanese private sector to come and invest in The Gambia.<\/p>\n

She has a wide understanding of Japanese culture including Japanese language, Japan\u2019s business environment and work ethic. She is very<\/p>\n

committed to sharing her experience both with the Japanese private sector and NGOs and The Gambia\u2019s public and private sector, to build<\/p>\n

strong partnerships.<\/p>\n

At the same time, she is an outstanding ambassador of The Gambian culture in all its aspects in Japan. Her initiatives to promote The<\/p>\n

Gambia\u2019s attractiveness as an investment destination are commendable.<\/p>\n

This Certificate is awarded to her in recognition of her talents and dedication to a stronger partnership between Japan and The Gambia.<\/p>\n

The Embassy of Japan in The Gambia also conveys wishes for continued good health, peace, happiness, and further professional success.<\/p>\n

The Certificate was conferred on April 22nd, 2024, by the Director-General of the African Affairs Department HORIUCHI Toshihiko, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.<\/p>\n
