Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>Kebba Tumanding Sanneh the devoted militant of APRC\u2019s faction No to Alliance has said that for the party to reconcile, their executive members needed to be accepted by the other faction- The Alliance.<\/b><\/p>\n

Hon. Sanneh said this during an interview in which he insisted that reconciliation could be achieved if only The Alliance was willing to accept the No to Alliance executive members like Yahya Tamba.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Alliance and the non-alliance is one party. They cannot call for reconciliation and exclude YahyaTamba and others because they feel that they are incompetent that is wrong,\u201d Sanneh remarked.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cThey just want to bring chaos, they want to bring another division and they cannot do that. If they want to come and reconcile and we hear that now APRC wants to back Barrow for 2026 and then after 2026 we can form our party. I hate to hear this statement. Why should we go back to Barrow 2026 and then come back and form our party? They left us and went to Barrow. If they think they are popular they can continue with Barrow and leave us to form our party like others.\u201d<\/p>\n

He hinted that individuals who are following Habibou Secka should get it clear that Yaya Tamba is the one identified and selected by the party leader Yahya Jammeh, and he (Tamba) is the one currently caring on behalf of the APRC party in The Gambia.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf they want to come back, the process must include Yahya Tamba and his executive. You cannot move to the third in command of the No to Alliance that is Habibou Secka and then if you want to start reconciliation through him you are just bringing another issue in the party. I\u2019m interested in the reconciliation but the reconciliation processes must include Yahya Tamba. Excluding Yahya Tamba is another issue in the party and this is what they\u2019re trying to do,\u201d he argued.<\/p>\n

Sanneh who is also an executive member of No to Alliance further stated that the division has no benefit for the Alliance team, arguing that if the party thinks that they can move on their own, they can leave and those that want to leave can follow them, adding that they cannot hold the APRC party ransom just to paralyze the party just because they know the powers they have.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t need to insult each other or see each other as enemies. But now they use the APRC name that they don\u2019t want to release, and then some of us who refuse to join the Alliance, we are even seen the enemies of development. For me, I have no regret of being in APRC,\u201d Sanneh stated.<\/p>\n
