Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>The suspected cocaine was placed in a black purse while the suspected heroin was hidden in a black handbag. The suspect was taken into custody by DLEAG Brusubi Field Office officials, The Point has learnt.<\/p>\n

Ms. Ceesay is reported to be a civilian support staff of the Gambia Army. Her offence; suspicion of being in possession of a prohibited drug, contravenes the provisions of the DCA 2003.<\/p>\n

In a similar development, DLEAG\u2019s Bakau Field Office also nabbed one Saikou Conteh with two bundles, 16 parcels and 28 wraps of suspected cannabis sativa. He was arrested on 17 December 2021 around 16:00 hours GMT in Bakau.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, one Modou Sinyan was arrested by DLEAG\u2019s Serrekunda Field Office with five parcels of suspected cannabis sativa. He was nabbed on the 16 December 2021 around 11:10 hours GMT.<\/p>\n
