Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>Superior courts commence Christmas vacation<\/p>\n

The Superior Courts; the Supreme Court, Gambia Court of Appeal and the High Courts throughout the country would proceed on a two-week Christmas holiday starting from 23rd December, 2021.<\/p>\n

According to a notice of the Christmas vacation issued from the office of the Master and Registrar of the High Court, the Christmas vacation would terminate on the 7th January 2022.<\/p>\n

Consequently, next legal term would commence on the 10th January, 2022 and Justice Zainab Jawara Alami will serve as the Christmas vacation judge for the duration. However, according to credible legal sources, the UDP election petition case currently before the Supreme Court will be treated.<\/p>\n
