The announcement was made via an official statement on the ministry\u2019s Facebook page.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The newly established board is composed of experienced and professional educators tasked with ensuring that every child in The Gambia has access to quality education delivered by motivated and well-supported teachers. One of its key responsibilities will be the establishment of a Teachers\u2019 Service Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Among the appointed members are former Minister of Education Anne Therese Ndong-Jatta, Hon. Sidia Jatta, and eleven other distinguished individuals.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Minister of Basic and Secondary Education Habibatou Drame expressed appreciation to the board members for accepting the assignment.
