Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>Sallah\u2019s FC from Central River Region has joined Rakie FC of Kanifing Municipality in qualifying for the GFF Women\u2019s Second Division League, following a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Ndim\u2019s FC on Tuesday at the Soma Mini Stadium.<\/b><\/p>\n

Needing a win to qualify, Ndim\u2019s FC started brightly and took the lead in the 13th minute through star player Awa Manka, who dribbled past defenders and buried a low shot into the bottom corner. However, Fatoumata Sanneh equalized for Sallah\u2019s FC deep into first-half stoppage time.<\/p>\n

After two rounds of matches, Sallah\u2019s FC topped the three-team table with four points, followed by Ndim\u2019s FC on two, while Star Academy managed just a single point.<\/p>\n

Sallah\u2019s FC now becomes the second team from CRR to qualify for the GFF Women\u2019s Second Division League after Stone Circles FC.<\/p>\n
