Field officers were also deployed today as Mr. Sowe began settling into his new role.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Modou Ceesay, who was forcefully removed from office yesterday by officers of the Police Intervention Unit (PIU), has announced his intention to challenge the decision at the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a press briefing alongside his attorney, Mr. Ceesay stated that he would contest his removal.
