Our economy is in a terrible state. Billions of Dalasi are being wasted,\u201d he lamented.<\/p>\n<p>He criticized the current administration for what he described as poor governance and economic mismanagement, saying Gambians deserve a credible alternative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe current government is not up to the task. The idea of this thing proceeding like that into the future is something that is unacceptable. And we believe that we need to provide the Gambian people with an alternative,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Gajigo emphasized that the PPA\u2019s mission is not merely to unseat the government but to replace it with one that is capable, accountable, and committed to solving the country\u2019s pressing challenges.<\/p>\n<p>He further stated that while there are many political parties in The Gambia, few offer genuine hope or transformative ideas. Adding that what Gambians need is \u201creal change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On potential partnerships, Dr. Gajigo expressed willingness to collaborate with other political entities, but only on the basis of shared values and goals. \u201cI am open to alliances, but only with the right parties and individuals who share our vision for real change in The Gambia,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>He categorically ruled out joining the current government, citing his motivation to serve the Gambian people and bring about real change. \u201cThere is absolutely no chance for me to join the Adama Barrow government.
