It changes everything,\u201d he said, noting that hundreds of residents now benefit from employment opportunities linked to the project.<\/p>\n<p>Emphasizing the broader importance of stability, Fatty said peace was essential for national progress. \u201cAny country that wants development in the world must have certain things; first is peace,\u201d he said, citing examples of resource-rich nations whose potential has been undermined by conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Urging the people of Wuli to recognize the tangible benefits of Barrow\u2019s initiatives, Fatty added, \u201cI will ask Wuli people&#8230; how did that work change our livelihood?
