As a government, we want everything to run smoothly for the farmers,\u201d Mr. Njie said. \u201cWe cannot afford a repeat of last year\u2019s issues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Njie said the corporation is placing particular emphasis on accurate screening and weighing of groundnuts, timely payments, and respectful service delivery. \u201cScreen the nuts properly and pay the farmers on time,\u201d he said. \u201cThey depend on this income, and it is our duty to serve them with honesty and efficiency.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also underscored that contractual responsibility rests squarely with Secco presidents, not administrative staff. \u201cWe sign contracts with the Secco presidents, not the secretaries,\u201d he said. \u201cIt is the presidents who are accountable, and we expect them to take full responsibility for compliance and proper management.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The NFSCPM is expected to maintain heightened supervision throughout the season, with officials saying the goal is to rebuild trust, strengthen fairness in the buying process, and improve nationwide service delivery to farmers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Gambia<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Gambia.
