In a swift response, the private company described the claim as entirely false and misleading.<\/p>\n<p>In a detailed statement, Blue Ocean clarified that the property in question, located in Tanji, was allocated to them by the GTB within the Tourism Development Area and was never linked to Jammeh or any state asset. The company confirmed that it applied through proper procedures, paid the required development levy of GMD 4.8 million, and has since carried out all development activities in compliance with the law and under full regulatory oversight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBlue Ocean Properties has never had, and does not have, any interest in assets belonging to former President Jammeh or the state,\u201d the statement emphasized.
