The 2026 budget rises to D43.49 billion from D37.85 billion in 2025, reflecting what officials described as shifting national priorities and increased fiscal pressures.<\/p>\n<p>Government revenue\u2014drawn from both tax and non-tax sources\u2014is projected to increase to D32 billion, up from D29 billion in the previous year. Finance officials attribute the anticipated rise largely to stronger collection efforts within the Ministries of Interior, Health, Fisheries, and Water Resources.<\/p>\n<p>The allocations include D737.8 million for the Office of the President, D649.1 million for the National Assembly, and D375.05 million for the Judiciary.
