Owners must be held accountable for any lapses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sock urged the police to enforce strict security measures at financial service points, including the presence of security personnel, reinforced buildings, and surveillance cameras, to prevent future incidents.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the legal responsibilities of bureau owners, she added, \u201cIn other countries, the owners would be sued for negligence. The same standards should apply here in The Gambia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also called for systemic reforms, stressing that lessons from previous incidents should guide measures to protect employees and the public. \u201cIt cannot be that the lives of young people are cut short due to preventable risks.
