Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>The beneficiary public health facilities included Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH), Bundung Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Kanifing General Hospital, Fajikunda Health Centre, Serekunda Health Centre and School of Nursing.<\/p>\n

Items handed over to the health facilities on behalf of Freeman Health Care Foundation (FHCF) by Center for Research and Advocacy on Women and Adolescent Health (CRAWAH) included vital signs devices, diabetic kit supplies, hand sanitisers, thermometers, BM Machines, pulse ox meter, gloves, BP machines, BM strips, cardiovascular practice model, digestive practice model practice, among others.<\/p>\n

David Daye, officeer-in-charge at Serrekunda Health Centre, expressed delight with the generosity and thanked the founder of the Foundation and partner for the wonderful donations.<\/p>\n

Lamin Ceesay, Public Health Officer at Serekunda Health Centre also expressed appreciation through CRAWAH to the partners and appealed for more donations in future, especially medical items such as bed sheets and nets for the labor wards.<\/p>\n

He encouraged others to emulate FHCF, CRAWAH and partners in helping health facilities for the benefit of citizens. He promised that the items will be put into good use. Fatima Bah of Fajikunda Health Centre applauded the FHCF and CRAWAH for the gesture.<\/p>\n

At Bundung Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Omar Ceesay thanked Jerome Freeman and partners for the support. He said the items would go a long way in helping them in their fighting against maternal mortality.<\/p>\n
