Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong> <\/span>ACE Communications Executives, in partnership with Swami India International, officially launched the Diplomat Twin Towers in Bakau on Friday, marking a transformative milestone in The Gambia\u2019s real estate sector.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Diplomat is a high-end, landmark initiative designed to set new standards for luxury and innovation in the country.<\/p>\n

In his speech, President Adama Barrow stated that the Diplomat Twin Towers represent a new chapter in The Gambia\u2019s development journey, distinguished by strong confidence, a sound vision, and tangible results.<\/p>\n

The project, valued at approximately D1.7 billion, is designed to house over 500 occupants and comprises over 90 apartments, supported by a multi-level commercial complex and facilities aligned with modern urban lifestyle needs.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe thoughtfully designed project is purposefully made responsive to the demands of our growing urban population and the increasing need for secure office and living spaces,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The project includes a gymnasium, IT hub, and plans for an advanced medical facility and water treatment plant, positioning it as a centre for innovation and productivity.<\/p>\n

President Barrow highlighted that the project has generated over 1,000 jobs and will continue to provide considerable employment opportunities. He emphasised that The Gambia is a nation open for business, driven by private sector participation, and committed to infrastructure-led growth.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe project aligns with our YIRIWA National Development Plan (2023-2027), prioritising infrastructure development, urban transformation, private sector-led growth, job creation, and economic diversification,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mr Khimji of Swami India expressed appreciation to the government for creating a stable and sustainable environment for investment and development.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Diplomat is a landmark achievement in The Gambia, reflecting our trust in the country\u2019s potential,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

ACE Communications CEO Fatim Badjie shared that the project began as a bold idea nine years ago, driven by her vision for modern spaces supporting corporate life, commerce, and innovation.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, Alhamdulillah, which vision stands before you \u2013 a place where businesses can operate, connect, and grow,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The Diplomat\u2019s name is personal, dedicated to Fatim Badjie\u2019s father, Ambassador Dembo Mankamang Badjie. She thanked the government for creating an enabling environment and empowering Gambian entrepreneurs and women.<\/p>\n

The event concluded with expressions of gratitude to the president, team, and everyone involved in making the project a reality.<\/p>\n
