Africa-Press – Ghana. Members of the Seventh Day Theocratic World Congregation observed their Sabbath on Sunday with an in-depth Bible study session themed “The Ark of Yahweh”, at Otiakrom-Shallom near Aburi in the Eastern Region.

The Bible study, led by Apostle Kadmiel E.H. Agbalenyo, Founder and Leader of the Theocratic World Congregation, focused on the sacred significance of the Ark of Yahweh, which he described as the dwelling of God’s testimony and power.

He said the Ark, which contains the decalogue, also known as the Ten Commandments, is kept in the heavenly temple as referenced in Revelation 11:19.

He explained that the Ark was removed from Jerusalem before the destruction of the temple by King Nebuchadnezzar in 586 BC, in line with 2 Chronicles 36:14–19.

He lamented that some former members of the congregation had strayed from the faith, referring to them as blasphemers who now “worship Satan the devil.”

According to the Apostle, these individuals have forgotten the spiritual significance of the Ark, which houses the law given to Moses on Mount Sinai (Exodus 31:18; 40:17–21).

“The Ark is not just a symbol; it is the power of the Almighty God.” He referenced the biblical account of the Philistines, whose god Dagon was destroyed before the Ark of Yahweh, and the afflictions they suffered as recorded in 1 Samuel 5:3–9.

Apostle Agbalenyo also challenged what he termed as “Greco-Roman Christian tradition,” which he said falsely labels those who worship before the Ark of the Testimony as pagans. Instead, he cited Revelation 15:5–8, encouraging believers to examine the scriptures themselves.

Quoting Psalm 132:7–9, he stated that God’s presence and power dwell in the Ark, and that the final judgment of the world would be based on the testimony it holds.

Touching on end-time prophecy, Apostle Agbalenyo declared that the sounding of the seventh trumpet, as recorded in Revelation 11:18 and 12:10, marks the judgment of the nations and the reward of God’s faithful servants, priests, prophets, apostles, and saints.

“The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdom of Yahweh and Christ Jesus,” he proclaimed, warning that world leaders who destroy the earth would face divine judgment.

Apostle Agbalenyo urged members to share the Bible lessons with their friends and communities. “Without God, there is no one to save you in the time of trouble”, ending the session with prayers and hymns drawn from scriptural passages affirming the divine presence in the Ark of Yahweh.
