Africa-Press – Ghana. The Jasikan Municipal Assembly has emerged as the best-performing Assembly in the Oti Region for the first and second quarters of 2025, according to the Oti Regional Co-ordinating Council’s (ORCC) quarterly monitoring report.

From January to June 2025, the Assembly collected GH¢610,867 in internally generated funds (IGF), achieving 99.52 per cent of its GH¢613,800 target for the period. This performance reflects its strong financial management and effective resource mobilisation.

Jasikan topped the regional rankings, followed by Krachi West Municipal Assembly with 68.12 per cent, Krachi East with 53.67 per cent, and Nkwanta North with 53.32 per cent. Guan District, Kadjebi District, Nkwanta South, and Krachi Nchumuru District placed fifth to ninth, respectively.

Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Mr. Parke-Davis Magyigbe attributed the success to robust revenue mobilisation strategies and prudent financial practices, adding that the Assembly aims to sustain its momentum and set a benchmark for good governance and development in the region.
