The record-breaking quartet of Ibrahim Fuseini, Benjamin Azamati, Joseph Paul Amoah, and Abdul-Rasheed Saminu powered Ghana to victory, fuelling the nation’s hopes for a podium finish.

Ibrahim Fuseini had a modest start, but a strong recovery by Benjamin Azamati reignited Ghana’s momentum, setting up Joseph Paul Amoah, who surged ahead with determination, carrying the nation’s hopes on his shoulders.

Ghana’s fastest 100m sprinter, Abdul-Rasheed Saminu, took the baton and unleashed one of his finest runs yet, sealing Ghana’s dominance in Heat 2.

The team is now preparing for the finals on Sunday. September 21, 2025.
