Africa-Press – Ghana. Wensah Foundation International, a Sunyani based Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO), has handed over a modern reception facility it renovated and refurbished at the Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrawiri Royal Place, the seat of the Sunyani Traditional Council.
The NGO with support from the PRESTODEA Ghana Limited, a construction firm, renovated the facility to add to the beauty of the palace.
At a short handing over ceremony, Mr Isaac Osei Amponsa, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Wensah Foundation, said the facility was installed with sensors, sliding doors, an air-conditioner, flat screen television and executive furniture.
“We also fixed modern tiles, painting works and burglar proof to uplift the image of the palace,” he stated.
Dr Samuel Peprah, the CEO of PRESTODEA Ghana Limited, later told the media that: “the renovation work demonstrates our commitment towards supporting the holistic development of the Sunyani Traditional Area”.
Nana Kwaku Sabeng Ababio, the Acting President of the Sunyani Traditional Council, thanked the organisations for their assistance and appealed to wealthy Sunyani natives, home and abroad to also contribute their quota towards the development of the area.
