Africa-Press – Ghana. Spanish giants Valencia have not completely shut the door on Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso despite the signing of former Barcelona youngster Ilaix Moriba.
Valencia are still looking at strengthening their midfield with the signing of another player, and reports suggest the Ghanaian will be an ideal inclusion.
Wakaso drew attention of the club with an Instagram story welcoming him to the club.The 31-year-old is looking at a return to Spain after his time in China came to an end following the end of the season with FC Shenzen.
Valencia manager Jose Bordalás has revealed there has not been contact with the player but has interest in signing another player in the window, with three days remaining.
“With Wakaso there has been nothing,” he said despite disclosing the doors are not completely shut on the Ghanaian.
Mubarak Wakaso was a member of the Black Stars team in Cameroon, but failed to make an appearance due to a knock he was carrying.
