Africa-Press – Ghana. Reaction from head coach Antonio Conte after his Tottenham Hotspur side suffered a 3-2 defeat to Southampton in the Premier League on Wednesday.
Spurs led the match twice, initially after 18 minutes through a Jan Bednarek own goal, before Armando Broja equalised midway through the first half.
Son Heung-min’s goal with 20 minutes remaining gave the home side the advantage again, but two goals in three minutes from Mohamed Elyounoussi and Che Adams condemned Conte’s side to their seventh loss of the season.
Defeat for the Lilywhites leaves them seventh in the table, four points from West Ham United in fourth, although they still have three games in hand on their London rivals.
Southampton move up into the top half of the table, overtaking Aston Villa and Leicester City as they climb up to tenth.
