Ghanaian centre-back Nasiru Moro set for Norway move

Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghanaian centre-back Nasiru Moro is said to be closing in on a move to Norway after deciding to leave Sweden.

Moro has held talks with his club Orebro and indicated his desire to part ways with them following their relegation from the top-flight.

Orebro manager Axel Kjäll admits that discussions have taken place with Moro’s agent.

“Yes, we have. What those discussions have contained must remain between us. But I can confirm that we have had discussions,” he said to NA-sport.

Moro is on his way to Norwegian club Odds BK in the top-flight.

The Norwegian club is said to be close to an agreement with ÖSK, but Kjäll does not want to confirm that.

“No, there is nothing I can comment on. He has an agreement with us and that is what we relate to. Other speculations about our players I have to leave to others,” he added.

Orebro SK recruited midfielder Moro, who can also play in defensive midfield, from Croatian side HNK Gorica in July 2021. He signed a contract until 2023.

He started 13 league matches, scored one goal and assisted one.

Moro moved abroad in 2018 from Accra Lions. At the time, the Ghana Premier League club were competing in the Division One League.
