Africa-Press – Ghana. Karlsruhe coach Christian Eichner is excited about Ghanaian defender Stephan Kofi Ambrosius following his brilliant start to the season. Ambrosius is currently on a season-long loan to Karlsruhe SC from Hamburg.
The Ghana international has made two appearances for Karlsruhe since joining the club this season. He made 68 minutes in the 6-0 win against Regensburg before making his full debut in the second game against Hansa Rostock which they won 2-0.
Hamburg coach Christian Eichner is raving on the qualities of the center-back after the two games. “Stephan has taken another big step,” Karlsruhe said in an interview.
Stephan Kofi Ambrosius will face his mother club Hamburg on Saturday and Coach Christian Eichner is expecting the defender to be up for the challenge.
“He should look forward to that,” said Eichner.
