Africa-Press – Ghana. On Thursday, Joseph Paintsil became the latest Ghanaian to join a Major League Soccer (MLS) side after securing a transfer to LA Galaxy from Belgian side Genk.
Since the league began in 1996, it has gradually grown into a huge brand with many global stars joining each year.
It has also become a home for Ghanaian footballers with some finding huge success there.
