Africa-Press – Ghana. The Electoral Commission (EC) has set April 30 for the Ejisu by-election.

The by-election follows the demise of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for the area Dr John Kumah.

9 NPP members eye vacant Ejisu Constituency seat

The former Deputy Finance Minister died aged 45 after short illness.

The NPP will be electing the parliamentary candidate for the by-election on Saturday, April 13, 2024

Nine persons, including three women who are members of the NPP in the Ashanti Region are eyeing the vacant Ejisu Constituency seat.

They have declared their intentions to contest the parliamentary primary election scheduled for April 13, 2024.
