Africa-Press – Ghana. Kim Lars Björkegren, Head Coach of Ghana’s female senior national team, Black Queens has invited 32 players to begin camping ahead of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The nine-day camp would take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence from 3rd to 12th May,2025.
The gaffer would use the period to assess his players as they gear up for the continental party.
Some top players from the Malta Guinness Women’s League, including Police Ladies, Army Ladies, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Jonina Football Club and Tamale Super Ladies had been invited to be part of the squad.
Players are expected to report to the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
The players are Cynthia K.Findib, Afi Amenyeku, Osman Huziema, Rose Teye Baah, Philicity Asuako, Ayisha Yakubu, Sussana Konadu, Sarah Kulibli, Justice Tweneboah, Mohammed Maltiti, Elizabeth Oppong, Patience Kundok, Mohammed Wasiima and Abigail Appiah,
The rest are Deborah Afriyie, Helena Obeng, Yakubu Fidaus, Nancy Amoh, Princess Marfo, Princella Adubea, Alice Kusi, Celestina Boye, Ibrahim Asana, Grace Animah, Abdulai Binto, Mariam Yunus, Yaa Abrafi, Abigail Tutuwaa, Sandra Ansah, Leticia Adjei, Mary Berko and Sarah Nyarko.
