Africa-Press – Ghana. Mr. Isaac Yawson, the District Chief Executive of Twifo Atti Morkwa, has praised President John Mahama for his commitment to ensure all ongoing development projects in the district were completed.
The DCE made the commendation after he was joined by several key figures, including Central Regional Council of State Member, Mr. Hakim Addei; District Police Commander Superintendent Charles Addei Boateng, and ECG officials to inspect a two-kilometre stretch of road in the Twifo Praso township.
The road project was awarded by the previous government of the New Patriotic Party.
Mr Yawson highlighted the significant progress being made on another 10-kilometer stretch of road in the District Capital.
He noted that the current NDC leadership had chosen to continue all important contracts since assuming office in 2025, demonstrating their dedication to infrastructure improvement.
Mr Yawson emphasised that aside the roads project, the government has a broader initiative to revitalise educational facilities in the area, many of which have suffered neglect since the NDC left power in 2016.
Mr Hakim Addei, who also serves as the Twifo Atti Morkwa NDC Chairman, reiterated the Party’s commitment to revamp Ghana’s infrastructure.
He encouraged contractors throughout the country to remain patient, assuring them that the government was working diligently to ensure they were appropriately compensated for their efforts.
