Ghana marks 66th Independence Day today

Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghana will be marking the 66th Independence Day celebration today Monday, March 6 at Ho, the Volta Regional capital.

Scores of Ghanaians and foreign dignitaries are expected to be in Ho for the event.

President of Guinea Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló who is also the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), is the Special Guest of Honour.

The theme for the event will be: ‘Our Unity, Our Strength, Our Purpose’.

President Nan Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is also expected to deliver an address to the nation at the event.
