Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Nana Akosua Asantewaa, queen mother of Manso Dadease, in the Amansie South District, has urged the youth to be interested in their education to enable them to play a meaningful role in national development.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking at the inauguration of the Manso Tontokrom Bonsaaso Old Students Association, she pointed out that education remained the bedrock of development and must be valued above all other things.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe time has come for us to value education for a brighter future for our youth rather than resorting to galamsey as a quick means to make money. Education conquers all,\u201d she stated passionately.<\/p>\n

On his part, the President of the Tontokrom Bonsaaso Old Students Association, Mr Sarkodie Philip, reaffirmed the association\u2019s commitment to supporting both the school and surrounding communities.<\/p>\n

He revealed that the group planned to provide ICT tools, laptops for health facilities, and other essential infrastructure to promote quality education and healthcare delivery in the area.<\/p>\n

Mr Sarkodie appealed to relevant authorities and stakeholders, including the Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Yaw Frimpong Addo, the former Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Benjamin Marfo, District Chief Executive (DCE), to partner with the association in achieving these developmental goals.<\/p>\n

The association he stressed remained determined to give back meaningfully to their alma mater and contribute to the overall progress of the community.<\/p>\n
