Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Betika announced a GHS. 1.3M partnership with Asante Kotoko Sporting Club in a 2-year partnership deal effective11th November 2021. This partnership grants Betika full rights as the Asante Kotoko official betting partner.<\/p>\n

The sponsorship deal was announced by the fastest growing gaming firm in Ghana, which aims to invest in the youth by nurturing talent through sports, arts, and culture.<\/p>\n

Under the sponsorship, Asante Kotoko will be receiving about GHS. 630,000 per annum and in-kind provision of balls, nets, and other sports equipment. Through the sponsorship, Betika will seek to nurture and improve the club\u2019s visibility and help scout for talent from other grassroot football activities across the country.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the announcement of the partnership, Mr. Rupen Samani, Chief Executive Officer of Betika said, \u201cAsante Kotoko is the biggest club in Ghana, no doubt.<\/p>\n

And for us, it\u2019s the third biggest club in Africa, and we are happy to have created this partnership. This partnership confirms our commitment to invest in the youth and in the country through sports, arts and culture with football being a key focus. Through this, we aim to improve the standards of the game as we nurture talent both at the grassroot and national level.<\/p>\n

We also believe that through the partnership we can influence positive change among the youth through creating an atmosphere of talent and skills development in sports. Through our sponsorship we hope to maintain Asante Kotoko club as the most successful club in the history of the Premier League\u201d.<\/p>\n

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club Chief Executive Officer, Mr Nana Yaw Amponsah (LLM), lauded Betika for coming on board at a crucial time by saying, \u201cWe are honored by this partnership and would like to welcome Betika to the Porcupine Family. We are certain that through our partnership we will be able to do a great deal in ensuring that both our organizations have the best visibility. We certainly look forward to a wonderful partnership.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Porcupine Warriors believe that this partnership will go a long way towards not only easing the club\u2019s financial obligations but also increasing the league\u2019s monetary incentive\u201d added Mr. Amponsah.<\/p>\n

Betika has quickly gained market share and is growing into a massive movement with huge following across the country with sports lovers taking to the firm\u2019s social media pages to congratulate the firm for partnering with Asante Kotoko. Betika continues to reaffirm their commitment in supporting sports, arts, and culture across the country in 2022.<\/p>\n
