\u201cWe extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Berekum Chelsea following the unfortunate incident that led to the untimely passing of your player\u201d.<\/p>\n

Discover moreSoccerSportsThe Club\u2019s Management in a release issued and copied to the Ghana News Agency, described the incident as a painful and heartbreaking loss, not only for the Berekum Chelsea Club but for the entire football fraternity in Ghana.<\/p>\n

\u201cLosing a player in such tragic circumstances is devastating, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family, teammates, officials, and supporters during this difficult time\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dominic Frimpong reportedly lost his life following an armed robbery attack on the team while the club was returning from a Ghana Premier League fixture.<\/p>\n

In a release by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications, the Association, said it had received with profound shock and deep sorrow the tragic news of the passing of the football player.<\/p>\n

It said the incident had sent shockwaves across the entire football fraternity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe GFA extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, his teammates, technical staff, management, and all at Berekum Chelsea during this extremely difficult time\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Association said the incident was not only a huge loss to Berekum Chelsea but also to Ghana football as a whole adding that, Dominic was a promising young talent whose dedication and passion for the game embodied the spirit of League.<\/p>\n
