Attorney-General and Sallah v. Attorney-General must remain living instructions that guided the courts into a more efficient future.

She said as the judiciary reflected on its history from the Supreme Court Ordinance of 1876 to the contemporary Fourth Republic, it must recognize that its authority was drawn from the sovereign will of the people.

She argued that public legal literacy and genuine openness were not merely extras but essential parts of the judicial function.

According to Ms. Bampoe Addo, if ordinary Ghanaians could not understand, afford, or trust the courts, even the most brilliant judgments fail to serve their purpose.

She reiterated the Executive’s commitment to a partnership that respected judicial independence while fostering a culture of excellence and gender-sensitive inclusiveness for the next century.

For More News And Analysis About Ghana Follow Africa-Press

Africa-Press – Ghana.
