Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Former Asante Kotoko has warned Black Stars not to underrate any team as they hope to end their Africa Cup of Nations trophy drought next year in Cameroon.<\/p>\n

The Black Stars who were last crowned champions in 1982 are set to begin preparations for the tournament which starts on January 9 and ends on February 6, 2021.<\/p>\n

Ghana who are drawn in Group will open their campaign against one of the favourites Morocco, before facing Gabon and Comoros to wrap up the group stage.<\/p>\n

Head coach Milovan Rajevac named a 30-man provisional squad that will camp in Doha, Qatar.<\/p>\n

\u201cGone are the days when the groupings come out we say this is the toughest or weakest group. There\u2019s nothing like that in football now,\u201d Didi Dramani, a former Black Stars scout told Joy FM.<\/p>\n

“Everybody is enlightened and plans as well as beef up their preparation. You can see how the qualifiers went, there are no minors in the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

He noted the current crop of players have been active this season hence their inclusion can make a mark, adding that no team can be considered an underdog because a lot of the teams have scouted for players abroad.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s all about going round and getting quality players, we are lucky many of our players are active and still playing active football,\u201d the coach stressed.<\/p>\n
