In the immediate aftermath of the match, Aubameyang was asked by a reporter from BeIN Sport asked the forward about the possibility of signing for Los Merengues.<\/p>\n

“Of course, as I always have said… I made a promise to my grandfather that I was going to play here,” Aubameyang declared.<\/p>\n

However, this brought a rather humorous response from the journalist in charge of asking the questions.<\/p>\n

“Shall we tell Florentino?” he quizzed.<\/p>\n
