Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus is returning to his best after a long injury lay-off.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old was impressive in the game for Ajax against Heracles Almelo in a friendly played behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

The Eredivisie giants won 5-1 with Kudus scoring a brace in the game.<\/p>\n

Both goals were superbly taken by the youngster before his stylish assist as he set up his teammates with a wonderful backheel pass.<\/p>\n

The game was an opportunity to prove to Ajax manager Erik ten Hag that he is fully fit and ready for more minutes.<\/p>\n

Since his return from a fractured rib, Kudus has played just 12 minutes, with 8 coming over the weekend in the club’s shock 2-1 defeat at Go Ahead Eagles.<\/p>\n

With Monday’s breathtaking display, ten Hag may be forced to start Kudus in the next game which is against AZ Alkmaar in the Dutch Cup semi-final.<\/p>\n

Kudus return to action is good news Ghana also as the midfielder will be expected to play a key role in the 2022 World Cup play-off against Nigeria.<\/p>\n
