Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah says the club will be forced to sale star player Frank Etouga Mbella if stadium attendance does not improve.<\/p>\n

Government has lifted restrictions on fan attendance across the various stadia in the country thus the Porcupine Warriors are expecting a full house on matchdays.<\/p>\n

Nana Yaw Amponsah is urging the Asante Kotoko fans to fill the 40,000 seating capacity at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in order to generate enough revenue to keep the Cameroonian striker.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf our supporters don\u2019t come to the stadium, how can we maintain Mbella? We\u2019ll be forced to sell players so that we can balance our books,\u201d Nana Yaw Amponsah told Oyerepa FM.<\/p>\n

\u201cOffers are coming in for Franck Mbella and Georges Mfegue. We can only keep these players if supporters are committed to come to the stadium and contribute to the virtual challenge. I want to see the supporters who are the fuel of the club contribute much to Kotoko.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf 10,000 fans attend a single game of our club, averagely we can get about GHC200,000 after deductions.<\/p>\n

\u201cKotoko will bag GHC400,000 in every month which is a huge amount in dollars. We can keep our best players.\u201d<\/p>\n
