Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>This morning\u2019s tests on Alessio Romagnoli ruled out muscular lesions for the Milan captain, who remains in doubt for Sunday\u2019s Serie A clash against Napoli.<\/p>\n

The Italy international was forced off the pitch in the first half of last night\u2019s Milan derby.<\/p>\n

The Rossoneri have released an official statement regarding the player\u2019s fitness after his medical examinations in the morning.<\/p>\n

Tests \u2018ruled out muscular lesions in his left adductor,\u2019 the statement read, as quoted by La Gazzetta dello Sport. Romagnoli\u2019s fitness will be \u2018assessed day by day.\u2019 Milan have another key clash over the weekend as they\u2019ll face Luciano Spalletti\u2019s Napoli at the Stadio Maradona.<\/p>\n

Romagnoli remains in doubt for the game, which could be a massive problem for the Rossoneri. With Simon Kjaer on the treatment table until the end of the season due to a severe knee injury, Matteo Gabbia or Pierre Kalulu will be the only options to partner with Fikayo Tomori in Naples on Sunday if Romagnoli doesn\u2019t recover in time.<\/p>\n
