\nThe 40th borehole constructed by \u2018The Sky is My Limit,\u2019 a Non-Governmental Organisation operating within the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta region has been commissioned in honour of Mr Francis Teku.<\/p>\n

Mr Teku, an engineer, has been holding the engineering aspect of the projects since the inception of the organisation in the area.<\/p>\n

This recognition was made known during a short commissioning ceremony of a newly constructed mechanised borehole water system to serve the people of Gbanukope and Akatsi Senior High Technical School (AKAST).<\/p>\n

The new facility consists of a drilled borehole, mechanisation, water tower and fetching points fitted with taps.<\/p>\n

Torgbe Dorgloh Anumah VI, the Paramount Chief of Avenor and President of the Avenor Traditional Council together with Mr Kofitsey Martin Nyahe, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Akatsi South, Mr Bernard Ahiafor, Member of Parliament for Akatsi South, as well as other dignitaries including other chiefs, participated in the commissioning of the facility at AKAST.<\/p>\n

The Avenor Traditional Council presented a plaque which was signed by Torgbe Dorgloh VI.<\/p>\n

The inscription on the plaque read: \u201cIn appreciation of your dedicated service, willing spirit, and labour of love in collaboration with Brian Mosko and \u2018The Sky is My Limit\u2019 to execute 40 mechanised boreholes in the Avenor Traditional Area, you have been an inspiration and blessing to the good people of Avenor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Torgbe Dorgloh VI, under whose watch the projects were executed, also commended Mr Michael Nyahe, Country Director of the Organisation for his hard work and commitment in alleviating the struggle for good portable water in deprived communities.<\/p>\n

Mr Michael Nyahe was presented with traditional Kente cloth from the Traditional Council as a sign of love and appreciation.<\/p>\n

Torgbui Agamah Dormenyo l, known in private life as Brian Mosko, a Canadian philanthropist and Director of \u2018The Sky is My Limit\u2019 has been working in Ghanaian communities with focus on providing portable water to deprived areas, healthcare, education, and others.<\/p>\n

A citation signed by Mr Kenneth Newlove Adevu, headmaster of AKAST and Torgbui Azadagli III, Board Chairman of AkAST in honour of Togbui Agama I, was presented.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are a philanthropist extraordinaire; you have great passion for the welfare and care for the underprivileged especially the physically challenged in our society. The same passion motivated you to set up the organisation The Sky is My Limit, which is the medium through which you carry out your philanthropic activities,\u201d part of the citation read.<\/p>\n

Mr Adevu, on his part thanked the donors of the facility.<\/p>\n

He said the new facility would contribute hugely to the health the academic strength of the students.<\/p>\n
