Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Former Liberty and Medeama manager Ignatius Osei-Fosu has attributed the Hearts of Oak’s inconsistent form in the Ghana Premier League to fatigue.<\/p>\n

The defending champions are set to lose their crown as they trail leaders and league leaders Asante Kotoko by 15 points.<\/p>\n

The Phobians\u2019 haven\u2019t shown the brilliance of last season’s win over Kot0ko, and may not even be in the top four.<\/p>\n

While some insist coach Samuel Boadou is to blame, Osse Fosu disagrees as he believes the club\u2019s involvement in Africa has left players tired.<\/p>\n

\u201cOther teams had holidays Hearts of Oak didn\u2019t have, it has nothing to do with technical or tactical. I guess they have to rotate their squad and have believe in the other players,” Osei-Fosu said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you look at their centre back pairing they started playing early last year and for almost a year they haven\u2019t had a break. They were preparing for Africa when other teams were on break so their woes are down to tiredness because they have the quality. They concede a lot of late goals because when you\u2019re tired your eyes become weary and lose concentration,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Hearts of Oak were beaten last weekend by Aduana to lose more ground in the title race. They will hope to bounce back when they welcome AhsnatiGold to Accra this weekend.<\/p>\n
