Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Saudi Pro League side Al Fayha will miss Ghana winger Samuel Owusu for the Kings Cup final against Al Hilal.<\/p>\n

The Black Stars attacker has been ruled out of the game after suffering an injury during training and he is expected to be out for 6 to 8 weeks.<\/p>\n

“The medical examinations conducted for the Ghanaian first-team footballer, Samuel Owusu, under the supervision of the medical partner, Reaya Hospital, resulted in him being injured in the pubic bone and he needed treatment for 6-8 week,” a medical report from the club read.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old will be in the treatment for a maximum of two months after the latest injury setback.<\/p>\n

His absence will be a huge blow for Al Fahya, who face Al-Hilal Riyadh in the King’s Cup final on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Owusu missed Ghana’s 2022 World Cup playoff against regional rivals Nigeria due to injury.<\/p>\n

However, it remains to seen seen if he will recover in time for the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.<\/p>\n
