Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>General Secretary of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) Anthony Baffoe has hinted that the organization will launch a YouTube platform to allow football legends to share their stories with the rest of the world.<\/p>\n

The former Black Stars player revealed this at the launch of former Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan’s “LeGyandary” book, which tells the football legend’s life story from the beginning of his career.<\/p>\n

In an interview with GNA Sports, Baffoe stated that the association needed to launch such an initiative as part of its efforts to educate young footballers.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cWe are coming up with an initiative which is going to be like PFAG TV on YouTube where a lot of legends are going to tell their stories as well to educate the up and coming ones and to show what former players have done.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the PFAG General Secretary, this would inspire young players who are striving to reach the pinnacle of their careers while also providing insight into the backstories of former players.<\/p>\n

He alluded to former Black Stars legends such as Sammy Kuffour, Stephen Appiah, and Reverend Osei Kofi, each of whom had a unique story to tell.<\/p>\n

Baffoe also urged Ghanaian authorities to begin naming football legends as Official Ambassadors in order to help put Ghana on the map.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would commend Asamoah Gyan for what he has done [launching his LeGyanDary book], I am really proud of him, he is indeed a legend so let\u2019s all support him,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Abedi Ayew, Sammy Kuffour, Augustine Arhinful, Stephen Appiah, John Painstil, Laryea Kingston, Agyeman Badu, Fataw Dauda, and many other former Black Stars players attended the book launch last Saturday.<\/p>\n
