Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will on Wednesday, June 08, 2022, open nominations for individuals seeking to occupy national positions in the party.<\/p>\n

A statement issued to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday, said individuals seeking to occupy the National Chairmanship position should be willing to pay GH\u00a220,000 for nomination forms.<\/p>\n

“Those contesting the Vice positions will be paying GH\u00a215,000,” it said.<\/p>\n

The statement said nomination forms for the General Secretary position would go for GH\u00a210,000 while all other positions will go for GH\u00a28,000.<\/p>\n

It said the vetting of aspirants would begin on June 17 and end on June 20.<\/p>\n

The NPP delegates conference for the election of regional executives had been held.<\/p>\n

The polls were organised within four days.<\/p>\n

Although the Central Region poll was initially suspended due to a court action, it was later held on June 04, 2022.<\/p>\n

While some incumbents retained their positions, others failed in their re-election bids, paving the way for fresh entrants to take over the job at the regional level.<\/p>\n
