There is currently a looming tension between the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Techiman in the Bono East Region, John Donyina and a supposed financier of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the area, one Nana Yiadom Boakye over refuse.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Things have gotten to the head to the extent that both were heard trading insults on live radio trying to undo each other in what promises to be a showdown in the coming days if no intervention is sought from the party\u2019s hierarchy.<\/p>\n

Africa-press.com\/ghana\/\u00a0has intercepted leaked Whatsapp chats and voice notes from the Techiman South NPP platform in which both openly traded accusations and used unpalatable adjectives in angry voices at each other.<\/p>\n

It follows attempts by some disgruntled persons to stage a demonstration against the MCE over his alleged refusal to clear heaps of refuse at some suburbs of the Techiman, the regional capital of Bono East.<\/p>\n

The said planned demonstration is alleged to have been fueled by the NPP financier in pursuit of a clandestine agenda against the MCE accusing him of being a stranger in the party but enjoying all the goodies and yet is undermining them.<\/p>\n

Hon. John Donyina who will take kindly to accusations by the so-called financier also took a jab at him and called him out as immature as well as describing him as an enemy of the party who was only seeking his parochial interest above that generality of the NPP.<\/p>\n

Tempers flared to the extent the MCE threatened to crush Nana Yiadom Boakye and his allies indicating to him that he also has loyalists who can descend into the galleries like them.<\/p>\n

He said \u201cYou try I go crush you and your group as something. I have also gotten loyalists who can do worse than your thinking of. Why are you making reference to the MCE and the DCE. You\u2019re an immature person\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
