Football fans to have reacted to the post juxtaposed his message to that former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan who has stated emphatically he wants to go to the 2022 World Cup if he is fit and considered.<\/p>\n

Stephen Appiah qualified the team to the 2006 World Cup in Germany where he scored against USA to help Ghana qualify to the Round of 16 and where eliminated by Brazil. Appiah also played at the 2010 World Cup where Ghana reached the quarter finals.<\/p>\n
