Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Bristol City manager Nigel Pearson has been impressed by striker Antoine Semenyo, who has shone since returning from a serious injury. Since returning to fitness, the striker has impressed scoring in both of his games firstly in the Carabao Cup then against Blackpool in the league on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Despite his impressive form, Robins manager Nigel Pearson says he won\u2019t be rushing Semenyo back to the starting line-up before he needs to. However, the boss was also keen to warn his attacking players that a selection dilemma requires them to keep their standards high as he told Bristol Live: \u201cI\u2019m not a medical man so I don\u2019t know but I\u2019m just pleased that he\u2019s [Semenyo] is in contention and he\u2019s pain free.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s had an impact in both games when he\u2019s come on so he\u2019s a very exciting player, a very talented player and it\u2019s just really good to have him back in the shake up if you like.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn terms of the forwards, I just think it\u2019s more to do with if you\u2019re in form and in the team stay there so I don\u2019t necessarily see reasons to freshen it up for losing reasons. I think the challenge for our forward is if they\u2019re in the team, stay there.\u201d Semenyo could start when Bristol play Huddersfield on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
