Africa-Press – Ghana. <\/strong><\/span>Bristol City manager Nigel Pearson praised the in-form Antoine Semenyo after the Ghana striker scored in his third consecutive game against Huddersfield on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Nahki Wells headed the Huddersfield ahead after Jay Dasilva’s 35th-minute cross, and Semenyo clinched the game 10 minutes from time after cutting in from the left.<\/p>\n

It was the striker’s third goal in three games since returning from a shin injury suffered near the end of last season, which forced him to miss the start of this season.<\/p>\n

Pearson said: \u201cAntoine has come back from his difficulties in the summer and doesn\u2019t look any different to before his injury. \u201cIt\u2019s great to have options on the bench who can go on and affect the game. But Nahki Wells has also started well, having played largely a support role last season.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is up to the players in the team to keep their places and in the case of strikers that means scoring goals, which Nahki has done tonight.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe deserved to win but could have seen the game out better. Most people have gone home happy because we won, but I have to look at the whole picture.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were opportunities for them to score and put pressure on us when we might have seen things out with greater authority.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have made progress, no doubt about that, but there are still areas where we can be better.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere will be no ins or outs before the transfer deadline. We have a small squad, but at the moment we don\u2019t have many injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n
